Leaf Bugs

This project kept me going and grounded in 2021-2022. Each little bug is inspired by the leaf it's painted on. These leaves were gathered mostly on walks around my apartment complex and trials in Michigan.

I can't make you love bugs but I hope these bugs (and some arthropods that aren’t exactly bugs) make you smile and feel a bit of the nature-mimicry magic because I can’t reach through the screen and give you a handful of moss.
