About Ansleigh

Hi!

I'm Ansleigh. I'm a designer by day, illustrator before and after, and disabled all day long. I am constantly creating and observing.

When I am not working my day job or popping up at local art events, I am reading, snuggling my dogs, or in my garden.

I love to look at bugs

and sew my own clothes

and collect leaves

and go on short walks

and drink coffee

I studied art at the University of Michigan after a lifelong passion for creating. Now I am continuing to learn and experiment in my personal and professional practices.

Disabled & Queer Joy

Disability and queerness are deeply connected and deeply important to me. In this studio, we create artwork out of love for nature and each other, and engage in community care. The ongoing pandemic has and continues to more greatly impact the queer community and wearing a mask is an easy way to break lines of transmission for airborne illness and protect your community!

A portion of every sale I make from my art is put towards mutual aid for my disabled and queer comrades.
